RI shuttler Simon wins men's singles at SEA Games

Indonesian badminton player Simon Santoso beat compatriot Sony Dwi
Kuncoro on Thursday to win the men's singles gold medal at the 2009 Southeast Asian
Games.
Simon needed only 45 minutes to score a 21-16, 21-12 win over Sony, Kompas.com reported
Earlier in the semifinals, Simon defeated Vietnamese player Nguyen Hoang Hai 21-7, 21-14, while Sony edged out Thai shuttler, Tanongsak Saensomboonsuk, 21-10, 18-21, 21-17.
