RI enters last SEA Games day third on medal tally

Indonesia has managed to defend its third position on medal tall as the 2009 Southeast Asian Games in Vientiane, Laos, enters the last day on Friday. Thailand is still leading, followed by Vietnam.
Indonesia ended the matches on Thursday collecting a total of 11 gold medals, 16 silvers and eight bronzes, defending the third position with a total of 43 golds, 53 silvers and 73 bronzes.
Indonesia won three gold medals from badminton, and each a single gold
from athletics, judo, pencak silat, tennis, volleyball, beach
volleyball, fin swimming and wrestling on Thursday.
Thailand pushed its total golds to 84, taking the top spot with only three gold medals ahead of Vietnam.
