Toilet says it all about transit service: Minister

JAKARTA: Transportation Minister Freddy Numberi said toilet cleanliness reflected services at transportation terminals.

"If the toilets are clean, the other services will be fine," he said as quoted by vivanews.com, during a visit to Merak Port in Tangerang.

As in his previous visits to Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in, Tangerang and Beos Station in West Jakarta, toilets were his main interest during his inspection Sunday.

Toilets, Freddy went on, also spoke of philosophical values.

Public toilets across Greater Jakarta are notoriously filthy. The airport has received a slew of complaints from passengers due to its dirty toilets. - JP
