House summons Miranda on Century case

After finishing a hearing with Vice President Boediono on Tuesday, the Bank Century inquiry committee summoned former Bank Indonesia senior deputy governor Miranda S. Goeltom.

It was the second time for Miranda to testify before lawmakers, she attended her first hearing on Monday.

Miranda told the Monday hearing that Bank Century had to be bailed out last year to prevent the country's banking industry from falling into a crisis.
