JAKARTA: Most Indonesian celebrities know well that “forever” doesn’t exist in the entertainment business.
There will come a time when a singer, a soap opera actress or a TV show host has to make a living through other means. Indonesia’s latest rising host Choky Sitohang has decided to get a head start.
The 27-year-old host known for his dating show “Take Me Out Indonesia” recently opened a bread shop in a West Jakarta mall, entertainment news portal kapanlagi.com reported Tuesday. Is he just making the most of his rising popularity for future business?
“People can think whatever they want. I just want to take up this business opportunity and focus on my goals,” Choky said, adding that he was fully aware that his fame wouldn’t last forever.
“It’s inevitable that there will always be younger newcomers in the entertainment business. I have to start thinking about my future from now on.”
