JAKARTA: Attorney General Hendarman Supandji inducted new deputy Attorney General Darmono in a ceremony at the Attorney General’s Office building in Jakarta on Wednesday morning.
Darmono was former deputy attorney general for supervision and was appointed to replace Abdul Hakim Ritonga, who resigned from his post due to his alleged involvement in the framing of Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) leaders.
Darmono’s previous post is now occupied by Iskamto, former junior attorney general for intelligence affairs, while Muhammad Amari, former chief of West Java Prosecutor’s Office, took over Iskamto’s position.
Iskamto and Amari were sworn in at the same ceremony.
