PLN new chief ready to be sacked if he fails

New president director of state electricity company PT PLN Dahlan Iskan said Thursday he was ready to be sacked should he fail to lead the firm.
"I am ready to be dismissed. I am not the one who looked for this post...," Dahlan said as quoted by Kompas.com
He said he had signed several contracts including those in front of President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, and State Minister for State Enterprises Mustafa Abubakar, which are enough for him to do his job.
Dahlan proposed radical schemes to eliminate the subsidy for power generation, bring in new technology, and increase the use of natural gas and coal to replace the diesel fuel currently widely used by PLN’s small generators.
