Police chief to question ex-detective chief over possible lawsuit

The Jakarta Post ,  Jakarta   |  Fri, 12/25/2009 3:47 PM  |  National

Police chief Gen. Bambang Hendarso Danuri will question former detective chief Snr. Comr. Susno Duadji regarding the latter’s planned lawsuit on alleged defamation by lecturer Bambang Widodo Umar.

Tempointeraktif.com has reported that the police chief would ask for Susno's clarifications over the matter Monday.

Susno has urged the University of Indonesia lecturer twice to publicly apologize for statements quoted by Koran Tempo on Dec. 14 and by Forum magazine.

Susno has accused the lecturer to have libeled his good name hindering the former detective chief's chance to win the second post in command with the police force.

The lecturer was quoted as saying that the National Police chief would ignore the public state of mind if he picked Susno for the post, which will be relinquished by Comr. Gen. Makbul Padmanegara who will retire at the end of this month. (ewd)

The biggest comedy on earth. How can a public law investigation is done by the gangster boss to his own member of the biggest thug-in-uniform-gang in the world called Polisi. Really funny.
This is incredible. Mr. Susno doesn't know the meaning of shame.
