JAKARTA: The Jakarta Police plans to reveal its preliminary result of an investigation of the fatal collapse of the Metro Tanah Abang market’s structure on Tuesday.
“We finished our investigation of the scene on Saturday and we will announce our result tomorrow [today],” Jakarta Police spokesman Sr. Comr. Boy Rafli Amar said on Monday.
Boy said the police had yet to name any suspects in the incident.
At least two people were killed and nine were injured when the third story of the market collapsed last Wednesday.
The collapsed structure was part of an extension being built to provide more toilets in the building.
