Your opinion on the lawsuit against artist Luna Maya for posting her statement in her Twitter account, calling journalists are worse than prostitutes.

After what happened to Luna Maya I consider the entertainment journalism profession even lower. I don’t know any journalism laws but they don’t deserve the title of journalists or at least I will say they’re not real journalists.

I consider a “real journalist” as someone who provides people with “worthy information”, while infotainment only provides us with junk. I agree if infotainment is banned.

I say they proved they are whores by playing the defamation card.

Luna Maya’s reaction on Twitter to express her annoyance by the conduct of journalists and paparazzi, who hounded her and intruded in her personal life, is understandable and justified.

The report of The Jakarta’s Indonesian Journalists Association (PWI Jaya) to the police for defamation seems to be contrary to their principle of freedom of expression. Why should PWI stick their nose in this case to defend infotainment reporters, most of them not even journalists or recognized members of the organization.

It is also a common belief that slanderers are worse than murderers.

I think Luna Maya is right, but only about a few of the journalists.
