Jakarta Police questioned 11 witnesses Friday over last week’s collapse of a section of the Metro Tanah Abang Market in Central Jakarta, an official said.

Police spokesman Sr. Comr. Boy Rafli Amar said the witnesses included construction consultants and the contractor.

“We’ll still be questioning people until next week,” he told The Jakarta Post over the phone Friday.

“We haven't named any suspects yet as the investigators have not reached a conclusion on whether there was any negligence.”

The Jakarta Building Supervisory Agency (P2B) began clearing the rubble at the site on Wednesday.

P2B head Hari Sasongko said officials from his agency had also been questioned by police.
Four people were killed and nine others injured when the third story of the market collapsed last Wednesday.
