President receives ‘judicial mafia’ task force

JAKARTA: President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono received on Monday members of the newly formed special task force to combat judicial mafia practises.
The President received the head of the task force, Kuntoro Mangkusubroto, who also heads the Presidential Work Unit for Development Monitoring and Control, secretary Denny Indrayana, also the President’s legal expert and members Yunus Husein, head of the Financial Transaction Reporting and Analysis Center (PPATK) and Darmono, deputy Attorney General.
Other members, Herman Effendi, an expert staff of the National Police chief and Mas Achmad Santosa, former interim deputy head of the Corruption Eradication Commission also met the President.
During the brief meeting, the President asked the task force to ensure that law enforcement practices in Indonesia ran well.
