The presidential judicial corruption squad and the Attorney General's Office (AGO) will jointly formulate a memorandum of understanding on cooperation to combat court mafia in the next two years.

Head of the team Kuntoro Mangkusubroto said Wednesday the AGO would provide legal support and back up the team’s activities should the squad uncovers corruption cases in the near future.
“We will provide some people to work with the team. It is possible to conduct periodic and impromptu meetings later,” Attorney General Hendarman Supandji told journalists.

Accompanying Kuntoro during the two-hour discussion were team members Yunus Husein and Darmono, who are the head of the Financial Transaction Reporting and Analysis Center (PPATK) and Deputy Attorney General respectively.

Prior to the meeting, the team held similar discussions with the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) and the National Police.
