Boas Salossa scored an equalizer in the stoppage time of the first half for Indonesia in its match against Oman on Wednesday to keep the host team’s slim chance of qualifying for the Asian Cup finals alive.
The national striker found the net after latching on a long pass, beating two Oman defenders and goalkeeper Al Habsi.
Oman, needing a win to qualify for the finals, had dominated the first half but managed only to score after 31 minutes. Bait Doorbeen Fawzi headed home a free kick from Ahmed Hadid past Indonesian goalkeeper Markus Horison.
