Thai envoy to ASEAN presents credentials

INDONESIA: Thailand’s permanent representative to ASEAN, Manasvi Srisodapol, presented credentials to ASEAN Secretary-General Surin Pitsuwan on Monday.
Delivering his speech after receiving Manasvi, Surin said the “appointment is certainly a good way to kick-start the new year. My colleagues at the ASEAN Secretariat and I look forward to working with him in progressing the work of the Committee of Permanent Representatives.”
To date, there are nine ASEAN member states whose ambassadors have presented their letters of credential to the secretary-general.
Before taking up his current position, Ambassador Manasvi served as the deputy director-general at the Department of ASEAN Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Thailand.
