Strong wind destroys homes in Blora

BLORA, Central Java: A whirlwind destroyed dozens of houses, nine of which collapsed, in Blora regency, Central Java, on Tuesday evening.

Two people were injured in the incident, with one of the victims was taken to a hospital nearby.

The whirlwind also caused some 6,000 trees to fall over, as well as several electricity poles, resulting in heavy traffic jams on the road connecting Blora with Cepu regency and Surabaya. - JP
