Former detective chief Comr. Gen. Susno Duadji has said that officer Wiliardi Wizar complained not all of his rights as defendant were fulfilled during his imprisonment in the murder case of former director of PT Putra Rajawali Banjaran (PRB) Nasrudin Zulkarnaen.

During a trial hearing at the South Jakarta District Court on Thursday, Susno said that Wiliardi had complained over a very limited chance to meet with his wife.

“He said he was not allowed to phone his wife. He also had a problem with his lawyer,” Susno said in his capacity as a witness for defendant Antasari Azhar.

He added that he once had invited Wiliardi, his wife and some officers to discuss about his complaints.

Susno said that he met Wiliardi in his part as a senior officer, denying claims that he pushed Wiliardi to make a false dossier which could nail former antigraft leader Antasari Azhar as main suspect.

Antasari, former Eradication Corruption Commission (KPK) chief, is currently on trial for allegedly masterminding the murder of Nasrudin, with help from Williardi, who allegedly recruited the hit men, and businessman Sigid Haryo Wibisono, who provided the funding.

Antasari's defense lawyers surprisingly brought Susno into the courtroom as their last witness on Thursday.

The court will resume on Tuesday to examine Antasari.
