Pertamina expected to earn Rp 25t in 2010

The government expects state oil and gas company PT Pertamina to make from Rp 20 trillion (US$2.16 billion) up to Rp 25 trillion in profit this year.
"We expect the new directors of Pertamina will support the company in bringing in more profit," State SOE Minister Mustafa Abubakar said Thursday night in Jakarta.
He said the improvement in Pertamina’s performance was because of the company’s restructuring.
In 2008, Pertamina earned Rp 30.2 trillion, up 54.8 percent from the previous year, while for 2009 the company is predicted to earn Rp 17.7 trillion in net profit.
