Seeking solution to his legal problems, former detective chief Comr. Gen. Susno Duadji was seen leaving the National Police intelligence division building Wednesday.

Susno said he met intelligence division chief Insp. Gen. Saleh Saaf to reciprocate Saleh’s visit to his residence on Tuesday.

When asked about the meeting, Susno said he discussed with Saleh mostly about his unauthorized appearance at the South Jakarta District Court to testify for former Corruption Eradication Commission chief Antasari Azhar last week.

“We discussed many problems, including the so-called unauthorized appearance at the murder trial,” Susno told journalists.

However, when the journalists sought clarification from Saleh, one of Saleh’s assistants said his boss was not seen holding any meeting with Susno.

The assistant said Saleh had left the building to meet National Police Chief Gen. Bambang Hendarso Danuri, just before Susno arrived. Until Susno left the intelligence division building the meeting between Bambang and Saleh was still underway.

There was a chance for Saleh and Susno to meet outside Saleh’s room, the assistant added.
