Two Indonesian nationals survived the 7.0-magnitude earthquake that devastated the Haiti capital of Port-au-Prince on Tuesday, but three others are still missing.

The Indonesians Permanent Representative Office at the United Nations in New York identified the survivors as Endang Satriyani and Yogi Anggoro, while those still missing remain unidentified.

Indonesia's Charge d'Affaires at the UN Security Council Hasan Kleib told Antara state news agency Thursday that Endang and Yogi were volunteers at the UN Stabilization Mission (MINUSTAH) in Port-au-Prince.

"They managed to get out of their office before it collapsed," Hasan said adding that his staff managed to contact them later through an Indonesian working at the UN mission in Liberia, Luigi Pralangga.

Luigi said there were three other Indonesian women in the Haiti capital, Hasan added.

"Yogi admitted he had recently met them in Port-au-Prince. The three women come from Bali but their names have yet to be disclosed. A report says they were working at Caribee Hotel in Port-au-Prince," Hasan said.

The Indonesian Permanent Representative Office in New York, along with MINUSTAH's offices in New York and Port-au-Prince, are still monitoring the search for the three missing Indonesians.
