German tourist commits suicide in NTT

KUPANG: German tourist Deekmark Haack hanged himself at a rented house in Alor regency, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), on Wednesday.

NTT Police spokesman Comr. Okto George Riwu said Haack, 45, committed suicide at the house belonging to a tourist agent in Mutiara subdistrict, Teluk Mutiara district.

"The post-mortem result showed the death was caused by a halt on the respiratory system.

"There was no sign of murder," Okto said Thursday.

Kalabahi General Hospital director Ketut Indra Djaja Prasetya, said the death was suicide.

"The autopsy result shows no other cause." - JP
