Military personnel continue to guard a house in South Tangerang where Brig. Gen (ret) Herman Sarens Sudiro is staying following Monday's failed negotiations over his refusal to attend trial.

“We don't want him to get away again. We have been hunting him for five years,” an unnamed officer told kompas.com on Tuesday morning.

The news portal reported that three uniformed personnel are standing guard at the porch of the house in Blok G5 No. 18 at Taman Telaga Golf housing complex in Bumi Serpong Damai.  Three other officers are stationed in the street in front of the house. All the officers are armed.

At least ten other plainclothes officers are guarding the house from all directions. Military motorcycles and vehicles are parked nearby.

The officers raided the house in an attempt to get Herman to attend a military trial in connection with the alleged embezzlement of TNI assets. Herman had ignored previous summons.
