Missing victim found dead in Wonosobo landslide

Search workers dug out Thursday noon another dead victim in a landslide that hit Wonoaji village, Wonosobo regency, Central Java.

The body of Samsul Romadlon (25) was pulled out of the muddy rubles after being buried for 24 hours.

Samsul was the fourth dead victim found in the landslide that hit the village on Wednesday afternoon. Two people are still missing.

Five residents were injured in the disaster and wre receiving medical treatment at the Kejajar public health clinic.

The landslide, coupled with heavy rainfall,  caused four houses to collapse while four others suffered extensive damage. The landslide has also blocked a highway connecting Wonosobo and Dieng.
