President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono is scheduled will inaugurate the nine members of his advisory council Monday, presidential spokesman Julian Aldrin Pasha said Thursday.
Julian said the President had signed a decree on the inauguration of the advisers on Wednesday.
“Two out the nine are old faces,” Julian said, but declined to elaborate.
Tempointeraktif.com reported that the would-be advisors are former coordinating minister for political, legal and security affairs Widodo A.S., former health minister Siti Fadilah Supari, former women’s empowerment minister Meutia Hatta, former chairman of the Constitutional Court Jimly Ashidiqie, former foreign minister Hassan Wirajuda, former regional autonomy minister Ryaas Rasyid, former speaker of the regional representatives council (DPD) Ginandjar Kartasasmita and Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) deputy chairman Ma'ruf Amin.
