KUPANG, East Nusa Tenggara: Akbar Amir, 40, from Ende region, was left dead after two groups clashed over a 700-meter-square plot of land Tuesday.
A house was set on fire and a person was left in critical condition due to serious hand and face wounds.
The police corps deployed to the area managed to bring the situation under control but the warring groups, from Lokoboko and Ndona, are likely to continue to be a threat to each other if the dispute remains unresolved.
