Leaders of the House of Representatives and the inquiry committee into the Bank Century case are hosting a consultation meeting with Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) chairman Hadi Purnomo and Bank Indonesia interim governor Darmin Nasution.

Chief of the Financial Transaction and Analysis Center (PPATK) Junus Hussein is also taking part in the joint meeting, which is being held behind closed doors.

Junus, Hadi and Darmin were greeted by three House deputy speakers, Golkar Party's Priyo Budi Santoso, Pramono Anung from the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P) and Anis Matta of the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS).

The bank received Rp 6.76 trillion (US$716 million) in bailout fund in November 2008, ten times as much as its original estimation.

The inquiry committee has questioned Finance Minister Sri Mulyani and Vice President Boediono, who was the Bank Indonesia governor when the bailout was approved, in connection with the case.
