Sandra dewi: a simple wish

Chinese Lunar New Year, known here as Imlek, is only a week away. The whole city is getting decked out to celebrate the event, which this year coincides with Valentine's Day. With her Chinese heritage, actress and model Sandra Dewi is no exception.

The star is planning to welcome in the Year of the Tiger with her family at home. "I plan to tidy up the house and bake some cookies for the New Year," she told Sunday Post.

But while she enjoys celebrating Imlek, Sandra doesn't really believe in the forecasts based on the Chinese horoscope.

"It *the Chinese horoscope* has no special meaning for me," she said. "I believe that each year will be great. Amen."

Asked if she has a special wish for the New Year, Sandra, who will turn 27 this year, said she hoped she could enjoy more time off on Sunday. It sounds a simple wish, but for a busy person who gets only two or three hours of sleep each night, a simple Sunday is a big deal.
