A landslide has caused a section of the Trans-Sumatra highway near Sumur traffic circle in Bakauheni subdistrict, Lampung to collapse.
Antara state news agency reported that the traffic to and from Bakauheni seaport had been rerouted to the Eastern Trans-Sumatra highway via Gayam and Ketapang intersections as of Tuesday.
The landslide also cut the access between Bandarlampung and Bakauheni.
The disaster was triggered by heavy rains in the area on Monday night. (nkn)
