BALIKPAPAN: Christian Ocy Sanjaya, the 2.5-year-old suffering from cirrhosis finally died at RSUD Kanudjoso Djatiwibowo hospital in Balikpapan, on Sunday evening.
The hospital's director Rachim Dinata said they could not save Christian's life because his liver had been heavily damaged and infected.
The baby had reportedly contracted the citomegalovirus, which attacked his liver, making it swollen and hard.
Christian captured public attention when his parents established a Facebook fund-raising effort. - JP
