JAKARTA: Heru Nugroho, the coordinator of a class action against the "little Obama" statue, said he would proceed the lawsuit, the first hearing of which will be on Thursday.
Heru said he would not withdraw the lawsuit unless the administration issued a formal letter about the statue's removal.
"We have heard statements *about the statue's removal* from the Central Jakarta mayor before," Heru said.
However, Heru said he was expecting the statue to be removed before Barack Obama's visit in March. - JP
