KPK summons Sudiharso to testify on Anggodo

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) summoned the deputy chairman of the Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK), I Ketut Sudiharsa, as a witness in the Anggodo Widjoyo case Wednesday.

KPK has detained Anggodo Widjoyo for his alleged involvement in an attempt to bribe two KPK deputies in hopes of stopping the Commission's corruption investigation into his brother Anggoro Widjoyo.

Anggoro, who is believed to have fled to Singapore, was allegedly involved in illegal procurement at the Ministry of Forestry in 2007.

The summons is meant to follow up on the revelation of wiretapped conversations between Anggodo and Sudiharsa during a hearing at the Constitutional Court last November.

Sudiharsa’s testimony is expected to clarify whether he was directly involved in the Anggodo case, or just acting as a LPSK official working on the Anggoro case.

Sudiharsa was earlier summoned and questioned by the KPK at the beginning of this month. (tsy)
