Text your say: 'Toyota and Honda recall'

Your comments on the withdrawal of certain products by carmakers Toyota and Honda because of technical problems in their products.


Toyota and Honda should give free repairs to cars with technical problems.

These car withdrawals show that the manufacturers do not only sell products but also service.

However, these withdrawals are also part of a public service, which is much cheaper than real advertisement costs.

Hopefully, this will not become a habit of carmakers, to use a car withdrawal just for cheaper advertising costs.

The recall of cars by the relevant manufacturers, to correct and repair free of charge any technical problems which were discovered during their operation, is a responsible and commendable act. It shows the trustworthiness of said producers.

Honda and Toyota intend to stay on top of the world by keeping the trust of customers by guaranteeing quality; even if it incurs big losses for them. This is a business attitude which will control the world. All manufacturers should be aware of attitudes such as these.

Honda and Toyota need to be honest with customers. I was not at all satisfied with their explanation that said models in Indonesians were not affected. Only after Googling it myself, did I learn it is because we use components outsourced from different companies.

Honda and Toyota undoubtedly are major players in the Asian automotive industry.

A recent recall by Toyota, and Honda following suit, I truly believe, will have little impact on sales. My only apprehension is with the respective countries dealing with the situation.
