Flood damages 716 houses in Bogor

At least 716 houses in Bogor, south of Jakarta, have been damaged after flood hit five subdistricts in the West Java city on Saturday, Antara reported.
Local government official Abdul Muid said the flood affected the subdistricts of East Bogor, Central Bogor, North Bogor, South Bogor and Tanah Sereal.
The disaster has also devastated 53 public facilities, he added.
He said the flood was a result of incessant rains that had caused Ciliwung River to overflow.
Bogor Mayor Diani Budiarto said local government officers had been deployed to help flood victims clean up their homes.
