NDONESIA: Askobi, an association of victims of terrorist attacks in Indonesia, will stage a campaign on Monday in a bid to attract bombing victims in Indonesia to join the organization so they can share their grief and receive support.
The event, which will take place at the Hotel Indonesia traffic circle in Central Jakarta from 7 to 9 a.m., will also be attended by bombing victims, bloggers and NGOs such as Indonesia Unite and the Nurani Dunia Foundation.
Current Askobi members include the victims of the 2003 J.W. Marriott bomb blast, the 2004 Australian Embassy bomb blast, the 2002 and 2005 Bali bombings and the 2009 J.W. Marriott and Ritz-Carlton bomb blasts.
