Navy captures undocumented boat

JAKARTA: The Indonesian Navy said Tuesday it had captured an undocumented boat carrying more than 250 cubic meters of logs.
Makassar Navy seabase commander Bambang Wahyudin said the boat, along with seven crew members, was stopped last Thursday 120 miles (190 kilometers) southeast of Makassar on its way from Pomala, Southeast Sulawesi, to Celukan Bawang, Bali.
"Our officers were patrolling when they saw the suspicious boat. It appears it had no documentation," he said. - JP
