An activist from the Center for Orangutan Protection performs as a Na'vi, a character from the film Avatar, during a demonstration around Hotel Indonesia traffic circle in Central Jakarta. A humanoid from Planet Pandora, the Na'vi activist brought a message from another humanoid living on Planet Earth - the orangutan.
The message reads "we need the real forest". The message shows that the orangutan and other faunas living in Kalimantan can not survive in their habitat currently transformed into a huge palm oil plantation. The orangutans long for their natural habitat. The activists staged the rally to protest deforestation in Kalimantan. Although the government earns money from the palm oil plantations, the money cannot replace the animal species lost during deforestation process. The destruction in the province continues until today.
