Indonesians and Nigerian arrested for drugs

JAKARTA: Customs officials at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport arrested three Indonesians and a Nigerian man Sunday for respectively taking crystal methamphetamine and marijuana into the country.

"A female hid 1,450 grams of crystal meth inside a small pillow," Customs and Excise Office spokesperson Evi Suhartantyo said as quoted by detik.com.

The woman was arrested along with a man who arrived with her from Bangkok, Thailand.

Another man picked them up at the airport.

"They have been handed over to the National Narcotics Agency," Evi said.

In a different case, the customs office also arrested a Nigerian man who reportedly took 10.4 grams of marijuana into the country. - JP
