DENPASAR: Bali education office has only allocated Rp 40 billion to support school operations, but the schools' financial demands already exceeds Rp 168 billion for the 2010/2011 academic year.
"We have to tightly verify all proposals submitted by the province's schools," head of the office Wayan Suasta pointed out.
The increasing demand for school operation funds was caused by a new government regulation prohibiting any school to ask for school tuitions. - JP
