Police arrest two more suspects linked with terrorist group in Aceh

National Police chief Gen. Bambang Hendarso Danuri said Monday that his team had arrested two more suspects, who allegedly provided weapons to a possible terrorist group in Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam, in West Java and Jakarta.
“[The suspects] took roles as weapon suppliers [for the terrorist group]. However, we will provide detailed information on the arrest later,” Bambang said in Jakarta as quoted by tempointeraktif.com.
Bambang said that the terrorist group had no relation whatsoever with the Free Aceh Movement (GAM) members. “This group [of terrorists in Aceh] seems to deliver a certain message.”
With the latest arrest, the police have thus far detained 16 suspects believed to be members of the terrorist group in Aceh. Three other members were declared dead during the police raids, which have been conducted since Feb. 23.
The police continued hunting down dozens ofother terrorist group members in Aceh.
