National Police’s Dr. Sukanto Hospital in Kramat Jati, East Jakarta, is ready to DNA test the body of a suspected terrorist, who was shot dead by police at an Internet kiosk in South Tangerang on Tuesday.

The killed man was believed to be one of the country's most wanted terror suspects, Dulmatin “Joko” Pitono.

“We admitted body [to hospital] at 1:40 this afternoon,” hospital’s forensic officer Muhadi told tempointeraktif.com.

Muhadi said the body was that of an adult male, but he did not know the age and declined to comment further.

The hospital’s forensic team will perform the postmortem examination on the body Tuesday afternoon.
