Suspected terrorist Dulmatin is believed to hold a fake ID card when he rented a house in Pondok Benda subdistrict in South Tangerang municipality last year, a neighborhood unit chief says.
Mawi Hartono, head of the neighborhood unit 004 where Dulmatin lived, told Antara on Wednesday the terror suspect introduced himself as Yayat Ibrahim, a resident of Cibubur in East Jakarta, when he reported himself as a new resident on May 13, 2009.
According to the ID card presented to Mawi, Yayat held resident registration number 08.5410.020173.0585 and was born in Jakarta on Jan. 2, 1970.
The police data revealed that Dulmatin was born as Joko Pitono in Petarukan village in the Central Java regency of Pemalang on June 6, 1970.
Mawi said Dulmatin brought in three men who wore robes after reporting his presence in the neighborhood. Later on Dulmatin introduced to Mawi a woman whom he claimed as his wife.
Dulmatin left the rented house on Feb. 21. He was shot dead in a shootout inside an Intenet cafe in Pamulang on Tuesday.
