Top terror suspect Dulmatin had lived in a rented house in Pamulang, South Tangerang with his family for eight months prior to his death in a police raid on Tuesday, a resident reported.
A neighbor on Jl. Salak in Pondok Benda subdistrict, Sinurat, said Wednesday he recognized Dulmatin as Yahya Ibrahim after he saw the suspected terrorist’s photo on TV.
“We knew him as Ibrahim. He lived with his wife and their six-year-old daughter,” Sinurat told kompas.com.
He said he did not know Dulmatin’s wife as she had never left her home or talked to neighbors.
Another resident, Maisaroh, said Dulmatin had told neighbors two weeks before the raids that he and his family would soon move to Lampung.
Sinurat said Dulmatin and his wife were seen several times receiving suspicious guests, most of whom wore robes or burqas.
