The Attorney General’s Office (AGO) dishonorably dismissed on Thursday two state prosecutors for serious violations of the code of ethics and conduct.
Chairman of the AGO disciplinary council M. Amari said two other prosecutors were moved from their posts for breaching the codes.
Amari said the council would hear cases of violations of the codes implicating another 12 prosecutors. He added a number of people had reported the prosecutors to the council for alleged misconducts, including accepting bribes, blackmailing and perpetrating domestic violence.
