West Jakarta, prosecutors sign agreement

JAKARTA: The West Jakarta administration has signed a memorandum of
understanding (MoU) with the West Jakarta Prosecutors’ Office to
minimize legal violations within the municipal bureaucracy.
“The MoU represents a joint effort to tackle legal problems,” West Jakarta Deputy Mayor Sukarno said Wednesday.
He added the agreement would help improve the effectiveness in handling
cases, particularly those involving municipal assets. — JP
