Yudhoyono holds bilateral talks with Papua New Guinea's Somare

President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono is meeting with Papua New Guinean Prime Minister Michael Somare at a hotel in Port Moresby on Friday morning.

The meeting is part of Yudhoyono's two-day visit in the country, which shares border with Indonesia's Papua.

Accompanying the President in the meeting are Coordinating Economic Minister Hatta Rajasa, Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Djoko Suyanto, Trade Minister Mari Elka Pangestu, Defense Minister Purnomo Yusgiantoro, and Forestry Minister Zulkifli Hasan.

Antara state news agency reported that the meeting will discuss borders security, forestry cooperation, agriculture and trade.

Earlier on Thursday evening, Yudhoyono received an Grand Companion of The Order of Hogolu from Somare for strengthening ties between the two countries.
