Firefighters found Saturday a charred body under the rubble of Swallow
sandal factory building, which was destroyed in a fire that started on
Thursday. Authorities feared four people were killed in the fire.
News portal tempointeraktif.com reported the body was found at about 1:30 a.m.
Families of the missing victims ran to have a look but they could not identify the remains due to its condition.
Firefighters are still working to put out embers of the burnt building. Smoke and sporadic small fire still can be seen from the rubble.
Flames began to burn the three-story factory on Thursday afternoon and were contained by Friday morning, but firefighters have been having difficulty to put out all the blaze because of all the rubber and chemicals in the building.
The dangerously warped and mangled iron and concrete factory structure also poses a risk to efforts to evacuate victims.
