Four scavengers killed in Bogor’s disposal waste center

A 6-meter-tall wall collapsed on nine scavengers, killing four in Galuga village’s disposal waste center [TPA] of the Cibungbulang district, Bogor regency, on Tuesday.

Bogor resort police chief Adj. Comr. Tomex Kurniawan said that the four killed scavengers were Yanto, 14; Wahyu, 15; Komar, 19; and Tirta, 13. The incident occurred at 3.30 p.m.

The remaining five unidentified victims, mostly suffering severe head injuries, are being treated in Leuwiliang General Hospital, witness Titin said as quoted by kompas.com.
