Many people are praising the knowledge, experience and competence of Vice President Boediono and Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati. They feel that these two people are being unfairly targeted in the Bank Century case. (By Rajasa, Jakarta)

Boediono and Sri Mulyani are highly respected figures in the international. They are competent people who can bring Indonesia out of the current economic situation and bring hope to all Indonesians.
Currently, there are many allegations or rumors which are politically motivated against Bank Century bailout. We should look into the facts, more than all these allegations. Bank Century was the 13th largest bank in Indonesia that time.
It is truth that the bailout was 10 times the original estimate, but we must understand that as with most of bailout case, the cost normally turn out to be more than expected. The shareholders and owners of the bank got nothing from the bailout. And government will recoup some of its losses once the bank is sold.
