Nine groups of people are scheduled to stage rallies on the streets of Central and South Jakarta throughout the day on Wednesday, Jakarta Police Traffic Management Center reported.
The police have listed the rally sites as follows:
- Hotel Indonesia traffic circle on Jl. MH Thamrin, Central Jakarta
- The Constitutional Court building on Jl. Merdeka Barat, Central Jakarta
- The US Embassy on Jl. Merdeka Selatan, Central Jakarta
- The state oil company PT Pertamina office on Jl. Perwira, Central Jakarta
- The State-Owned Enterprises Ministry on Jl. Merdeka Selatan, Central Jakarta
- The Jakarta Legal Aid Foundation's (LBH Jakarta) office on Jl. Diponegoro, Central Jakarta
- The Corruption Eradication Commission headquarters on Jl. Rasuna Said, South Jakarta
The police have issued warnings of possible traffic congestion around the rally sites from 9 a.m. until late in the afternoon.
