JAKARTA: President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono on Friday ordered his Cabinet to study the House of Representatives' recommendations on the Bank Century bailout case.
State Secretary Sudi Silalahi said the President would hold a meeting with the officials on Monday to gain insights as to how the government should respond to the recommendations.
"The follow-up to these recommendations will depend on the relevant ministers and senior officials' suggestions," Sudi said at his office.
The senior officials tasked with studying the case will be led by Coordinating Political, Legal and Security Affairs Minister Djoko Suyanto.
Sudi said the officials were Justice and Human Rights Minister Patrialis Akbar, Attorney General Hendarman Supandji, National Police chief Gen. Bambang Hendarso Danuri and acting Development Finance Comptroller (BPKP) head Kuswono Soeseno. - JP
